Affiliate Disclosure

I started the Mummy’s Gone a Cycle blog in 2016 with no real idea as to why I was starting it. I knew nothing about blogging or creating a website but I was opinionated and passionate about sharing my love of cycling. I also enjoyed writing.

As the blog grows it takes up more and more time. In order for me to continue developing the website successfully I need to make enough money to fund this. I therefore have advertising banners on the website and am a member of a number of affiliate marketing schemes.

Affiliate marketing is one way in which websites make money. Retailers join an affiliate scheme and link with websites such as mummysgoneacycle.com. When a Mummy’s Gone a Cycle post then includes a link to a product, if a reader clicks the link and the purchases a product, I receive a small commission. This does not affect the price you pay for that product.

Mummy’s Gone a Cycle is a member of Awin, Amazon Associates and the Ebay Partner Network. These schemes include retailers such as Chain Reaction Cycles, Wiggle, Ribble Cycles, Tweeks Cycles, Amazon and Ebay.

Guest Posts

The views and opinions expressed on mummysgoneacycle.com are purely the bloggers’ own unless they are contained in a guest post from another blogger or company. If an article is written by a guest, this will always be stated at the top of the post, along with the name of the writer.

Mummy’s Gone a Cycle may occasionally accept articles from other writers. Such articles will only be accepted if the content is judged to be relevant to the Mummy’s Gone a Cycle blog as a whole.

Guest articles will not be promoted through the Mummy’s Gone a Cycle mailing list.

The Mummy’s Gone a Cycle Philosophy

I do sometimes mention products in my blog posts. These are products which are relevant to the subject I am writing about and might be a book or a product. I do not include references to products or services just to make money. All references are because they are relevant. These references would have been made even if I was not a member of any affiliate marketing schemes.

Mummy’s Gone a Cycle will never link a product or service purely to make a sale, unless that product or service is offered directly by Mummy’s Gone a Cycle.
