Recommended Cycle Clubs

Cycling with a club can be a fantastic experience. Through clubs you can meet new people, develop your skills, and try out new aspects of cycling.

Many women report that they would like to try club cycling but they feel too intimidated to give it a go. The aim of the Recommended Cycle Clubs Project is to create a directory of clubs recommended by women, for women. This does not necessarily mean that all these clubs are women only or that they are running projects specifically aimed at encouraging women. It does mean that they are a friendly and welcoming club which you should feel comfortable in trying out.

You can find out more detail about the Recommended Cycle Clubs Project here. and I would recommend reading that page before using the directory for the first time.

If you are already a member of a fantastic club, please do get involved. Complete the Recommended Club Information Sheet and return it to me with some pictures, and I will create your club entry.

Click on the dots on the map to go to the details for clubs in your area. You can also zoom into the map to see more in your area.

As this project was just started at the beginning of July 2020, information is constantly being added. Please visit again if you don’t find what you are looking for. Please also feel free to let me know what you think of the project, the information and the layout.
